KOCHI, DEC. 28. Traffic along Thoppumpady-Palluruthy road will be diverted on Wednesday due to the laying of water supply pipelines.

Vehicles going from Ernakulam side towards Alappuzha through Thoppumpady should take deviation from the Syrian Church Junction to Indira Gandhi Road, S.N. Junction and reach Palluruthy through Pullar Desom road.

Vehicles coming from Alappuzha to Ernakulam should take deviation from Palluruthy Nambiapuram Road to Geo Junction, Pyari Junction, Indira Gandhi Road to reach Ernakulam.

Operating trailers, containers and trucks along these routes will be banned between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., said S. Sasikumar, Assistant City Police Commissioner (Traffic-West).
