Sky to be clear

The sky will be mainly clear on Wednesday, according to the weather forecast. Fog or mist is likely early in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 15 degrees Celsius.

On Tuesday, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 26.7 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 16.1 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity was 50 per cent.

At the airport, the maximum temperature was 25.7 degrees Celsius and the minimum 14.8 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity was 51 per cent.

Classes

The Kannada Prasaara Parishat will start its next batch of Kannada learning classes from January 2 at St. Euphrasia's Girls' High School, Albert Street, Richmond Town (near Brigade Towers) in the city. Classes will be held only on Sundays between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. in separate batches for learning spoken and written Kannada. Details may be had on 26645662/ 98456 80958.

Bangalore University has invited applications from eligible candidates to work in time-bound inter-disciplinary collaborative research projects in economics, psychology, history, geology, botany, chemistry, sericulture, apparel technology management and commerce and environmental science. Those interested may send applications to the principal investigators concerned in the respective departments before 4 p.m. on January 5.
