Dry weather in Tamil Nadu

CHENNAI, DEC. 29. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema and Lakshadweep and dry weather prevailed over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Kerala.

The minimum temperature fell appreciably at one or two places over north interior Tamil Nadu, fell at a few places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, at one or two places over Telangana, rose appreciably at one or two places over Rayalseema, coastal Karnataka, rose at one or two places over rest coastal Andhra Pradesh, rest coastal Karnataka and changed a little elsewhere over the region.

They were appreciably above normal at one or two places over south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema, coastal Karnataka, above normal at one or two places over north coastal Tamil Nadu, rest coastal Andhra Pradesh, rest Rayalaseema, north interior Karnataka, rest coastal Karnataka and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

Ramagundam and Hyderabad Airport recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 14 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

FORECAST (valid until the morning of 31st December): Isolated light rain is likely to occur over coastal Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, south Kerala and southern parts of Lakshadweep and mainly dry weather will prevail over interior Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, north Kerala and northern parts of Lakshadweep.

Farmers Weather Bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry (Forecast: valid until the morning of 31st December): Isolated light rain is likely to occur over coastal Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry and mainly sunny weather will prevail over rest Tamil Nadu.

Outlook For Subsequent Two Days: No significant change.
