KOLLAM, DEC. 29. Following the after-shocks recorded at Sumatra today, the District Collector, B. Sreenivas, has warned the people against venturing out to sea or visiting beaches for the next 48 hours. The warning follows Met reports that there could be after-effects of the Sumatra after-shocks along the coastal areas of the country.
