PATHANAMTHITTA, DEC 29. The Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy, will lay the foundation stone for the proposed electrical and mechanical engineering block at the Sree Buddha College of Engineering at Pattoor, near Pandalam, on January 1, 2005. According to the college Principal, V. Suresh, the Education Minister, E.T. Muhammed Basheer, will preside over the function. The Mavelikara MP, C.S. Sujatha, K.K. Shaju, MLA, the Nair Service Society treasurer, Perumpulickal Gopinatha Pillai, and the SNDP Union taluk union president, S. Sujathan, will address the function.
