Bhargav Rahydu's century (151 not out, 23 x 4, 4 x 6) helped Vijaya Paul Cricket Academy record a convincing, 123-run win against Arshad Ayub Cricket Academy in the boys under-11 semifinal of the Santa Cup sub-juniors cricket tournament here today.
The scores (semifinals):
Under-11: VPCA 280 for one (Bhargav Rayudu 151 not out, Rohit Rayudu 63) bt Arshad Ayub CA 157 for nine (Vipul 40, Dhanush four for 16). St. John's CCF 188 for six (Rahul Singh 41, Akshat 40) bt Denzil CA 98 for six (Akshay 40).
Under-13: Arshad Ayub CA 148 for nine lost to VPCA 149 for no loss (Arun Nag 70 not out, Rahul Choudhary 57 not out). BPCA 38 lost to Denzil CA 41 for no loss.
Under-15: Samaritans 170 for seven (Nimish 59, Naveen 53 no tout) lost to VPCA 171 for seven (Praneeth 52, Gautam Reddy 45). BPCA 177 for six (Prasanna 56) lost to GMS 179 for one (Akshit Reddy 68 not out, V. Vamshi Ram 44 not out).
