First innings leads for Karnataka, TN

BANGALORE, DEC. 29. Karnataka and Tamil Nadu had to settle for just first innings leads over Hyderabad and Goa respectively in the KSCA South Zone Under-13 cricket tournament here on Wednesday.

Having scored 374 in its first innings, Karnataka did well to bowl Hyderabad out for 236 in 133.1 overs.

Tamil Nadu snatched a 30-run first innings lead over Goa.

The scores:

Karnataka 374 and 48 for no loss in 20 overs drew Hyderabad 236 in 133.1 overs (Sandeep Goud 96, Rayan 43 not out; S. Rohit four for 35).

Tamil Nadu 241 and 178 for three (Rajeev A 77; Adithya Ganesh 40) drew Goa 211 and 32 for two in 18 overs.
