VIJAYAWADA, DEC.29. The Vijayawada Municipal Council on Tuesday observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect for the late former Prime Minister, P.V.Narasimha Rao and the victims of the killer Tsunami. The Congress and CPI (M) legislators also announced their decision to contribute a month's salary for the cause of the victims of the tidal wave tragedy.
