By Our Staff Reporter
KANCHEEPURAM,
DEC. 29.
The judicial magistrate-I, G. Uthamaraj, today remanded Ravi Subramaniam, a prime accused in the Sankararaman murder case, to judicial custody till January 10, 2005. He was presented in the court at the end of the three-day police custody. He was later lodged in the Cuddalore prison.
The magistrate ordered three days of police custody for Ravi Subramaniam, when he was brought to the court on December 27.
The judge directed the police to produce the accused in the court before 5 p.m. today.
After recording Ravi Subramaniam's reply to questions whether he was harassed and whether food was provided to him during the police custody, the magistrate issued the warrant for judicial remand as the chief investigation officer, S.
