JAIPUR, DEC. 29. The Rajasthan Government has appointed committees in eight districts to monitor implementation of financial works under the 20-Point Programme and look after the qualitative aspects of these works, besides verifying the achievements. The committees will be headed by the Ministers in charge of the districts concerned, while their member secretaries will be the Collectors. Eminent people from various walks of life will be among the members of the committees. The districts where the committees have been set up are Jhunjhunu, Jalore, Hanumangarh, Rajsamand, Chittaurgarh, Churu, Dungarpur and Sikar. An official release stated here today that the committees will meet once every month and discuss the issues relating to targets, execution of the programme, difficulties faced in implementation, raising of funds and achievement of goals.
