Bagan to raise funds For Tsunami victims
KOLKATA,
DEC. 29.
Mohun Bagan club has decided to raise funds for the families of the victims of the recent Tsunami devastation, by organising a charity football match on January 7.
Mohun Bagan will play a touring Nigerian first division club, Saro FC, at Salt Lake Stadium. The gate proceeds from the match, supported also by the State Sports Department, will be donated to Prime Minister's relief fund, informed a club spokesman on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the club constituted a panel doctors to look after the players' health and injuries during the National Football League. A workshop on treating injuries during a match was also organised. — Our Sports Reporter
