Two share lead
VIJAYAWADA,

S. K. Sinha of Bihar and K. Chandrahawsa of AP were jointly in the lead with 6.5 points each at the end of the eighth round of the All India FIDE rated chess tournament on Wednesday.

Sinha (6.5) bt Srinivasa Rao (5.5); Sarma Vinod Kumar (6) bt J.K.Raju (5.5); Venkata Krishna Karthik (5) lost to Koneru Chandrahawsa (6.5); Puroshottaman (6) bt Abhilash Reddy (4.5) Rao Malleswara (5.5) bt Santosh Kumar (4.5); Layakeethi (4.5) lost to Kranthi Kumar (5.5); Viswanath (4.5) lost to Rahul Ved (5.5); Srikanth (4) lost to G.Vishnu Vikhyath (4); Gokul (5) bt K.Santosh Kumar (4); Lokesh (3.5) lost to Mahesh Ved (4.5).
