Dhruv Jouhari triumphs

BANGALORE, DEC. 29. Dhruv Jouhari with a second day's score of 84 edged past joint leader B.R. Raja to clinch the top prize in the `A' category (15 to 17 years) strokeplay format KGA South Zone Junior-Sub junior golf championship at the KGA course here today.

Jouhari totalled 175 having held the lead with Raja at 91 on the first day. Raja with a 85 today finished runner-up with a combined score of 176 while Harikiran Singh Wohra came in third at 183.

The results: Category A: (15 -17): 1. Dhruv Jouhari (91, 84 — 175); 2. B.R. Raja (91, 85 — 176); 3. Harikiran Singh Wohra (95, 88 — 183); Category B: (13 - 14): 1. Pritam Haridas (83, 76 — 159); 2. N. Sharmila (82, 86 — 168); 3. Jaibir Singh (79, 89 — 168); Category C: (11-12): 1. Rahul Shankar (87, 93 — 180); 2. Jairus Anthony (102, 87 — 189); 3. Trishul Chinnappa (102, 92 — 194); Category D: (under-10): 1. Akash Srnivasan (95, 94 — 189); 2. Syed Saqib Ahmed (95, 96 — 191); 3. S. Siddartha (103, 92 — 195).
