Bangalore City in last four

MYSORE, DEC. 29. Bangalore City finished second in Group `B' with 17 points and entered the semifinals in the S.A. Srinivasan Memorial U-22 cricket tournament.

Bangalore City has taken the first-innings lead in its drawn match against Mangalore Zone at the Gangotri Glades here on Wednesday.

The scores: Bangalore City 307 for nine in 90 overs (Tejas Trishul 101, Bharat Chipli 49, Pranesh Desai 43, Santosh Kamath six for 85) & 174 for three in 32 overs (Bharat Chipli 78, Devaraj Patil 55) drew with Mangalore Zone 129 in 49.1 overs (Krishna Vashist seven for 23). Bangalore City — five points; Mangalore Zone — two points.
