Khadi exhibition inaugurated

CHENNAI,
DEC. 29.
Bedsheets, pillows, cushions, mattresses, handicrafts and edible items are on sale at an exhibition organised by the Office of the Khadi and Village Industries, here.
S. Mohan, former Supreme Court judge inaugurated the fair this evening. K. Sudhakar, State Director of the Commissionerate, said this was the third exhibition. In the exhibitions at Palayamkottai and Coimbatore, the sale was to the tune of over Rs. 100 lakhs.
The exhibition at Valluvarkottam will be on till January 11, between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. There will be a discount of 10-30 per cent on the products.
