Software engineer robbed of cash

BANGALORE, DEC. 29. Three persons attacked Chandan Kumar Jor of Orissa, a software engineer, on Tuesday night and relieved him of Rs. 3,000 in cash and his credit card on 6th Main, BTM Layout 2nd Stage. The police said Mr. Jor was returning to his house on 9th Cross at BTM Layout after work when he was waylaid and asked to part with his money.

When he resisted, the accused attacked him with a knife and took away his money and credit card.

He took treatment at a nursing home and lodged a complaint with the Mico Layout police station.

Robbery

In another case, two persons, who came on a motorcycle, robbed Nagaraj of 2nd Cross, Pipeline Road, Mattikere, of Rs. 250 in cash, his driving licence and credit card. A case has been registered.

Suicide

A 30-year-old housewife committed suicide by hanging at her house in Rajagopalnagar today.

The police said Anjali, wife of Yohan, was a resident of 6th Main. She was working in a garment factory.
