BANGALORE, DEC. 30. Three persons were killed and four injured when a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation bus hit the bullock cart in which they were travelling in in Haveri district on Thursday. The Haveri police said that the accident occurred at 6.10 a.m. near Bankapura Cross. The occupants of the bullock cart were labourers on their way to work. The deceased have been identified as Basava Hurli, Bheemakka Kuri, and Siddappa Thandur, all residents of Bankapura. The four injured, who were admitted to the government hospital in Shiggaon, are said to be in a critical state. The two bullocks were killed on the spot. The Shiggaon police have seized the bus and arrested the driver.
