Indian Bank contributes Rs. 2 crores
CHENNAI: Indian Bank would be contributing a sum of Rs. 2 crores to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund. The staff members will be making a contribution of their one day salary. The bank will be launching exclusive housing loan and consumption loan schemes shortly. M. B. N. Rao, Chairman and Managing Director, took part in the relief measures at Neelangarai, Chennai. All the general managers have been overseeing the relief measures being carried out at various centres, says a release.
