Kannur eves win

KONDOTTY, DEC. 30. Kannur defeated MG 25-11, 25-22, 17-25, 19-25, 15-11 to win the All-India inter-university women's volleyball championship at the EMEA College courts here on Thursday.

Kurukshetra took the third place, beating Kerala 25-20, 19-25, 25-27, 25-22, 15-13.

In the semifinal late on Wednesday night, MG had beaten Kurukshetra 25-14, 27-25, 25-14.
