SBT keeps title
KOCHI,
DEC. 30.
State Bank of Travancore (Thiruvananthapuram) defeated Swantons CC (Ernakulam) by 44 runs and retained the Coromandel Cement all-Kerala cricket title here.
SBT's Anil Kumar who took four wickets was named as the man of the final. The Kerala Cricket Association secretary S. Haridas gave away the prizes.
The scores:
SBT 210 for nine in 45 overs (Sanjay Mohan 69, V.G. Nair 50, V.N. Kutty four for 41) bt Swantons CC 166 in 38.5 overs (Abhishek Hegde 75, Anil Kumar four for 43).
Best player prizes: Sanjay Mohan (SBT, batsman), Sajukumar (Swantons, bowler), Ajay Jay Kumar (Ernakulam, most promising player).
