HYDERABAD, DEC. 30. Four persons accused in the murder of Y.C. Boru Gangappa in Amadaguru, Anantapur district, on December 14, surrendered before the High Court on Thursday. The Bench comprising the Chief Justice, Devinder Gupta, and the judge, M. Narayana Reddy, permitted these four persons to surrender and then sent them to the Metropolitan criminal courts to be remanded by the magistrate concerned. Harinatha Reddy, Viswanatha Reddy, Shiva Reddy and Krishna Reddy filed applications through their advocate in the morning. They informed the court that they were residents of Lakojupally village of Amadaguru mandal and were accused in the murder case of Y.C. Boru Gangappa. They said that they could not surrender to the police as they could be killed. They further complained that they could not go to the court concerned in the district, as they will be killed. They wanted to surrender before the High Court so that they could be remanded. The Bench directed these persons to surrender before the High Court and directed that they be produced before the metropolitan magistrate concerned at Hyderabad with security from the security personal at High Court and then criminal court would pass appropriate orders of remand.
