CHENNAI, DEC. 30. Hyderabad ended the final day in their Cooch Behar under-19 match against Tamil Nadu on 238 for eight. Danish Raj scored 65 for the visitors, while V.R.S. Gurukedarnath picked three wickets for Tamil Nadu. Hyderabad gained two points from the match on account of first innings lead. At Mumbai, Delhi made it to the knockout with a five-wicket win against Karnataka.
The scores: At Chennai: Hyderabad 262 & 238 for eight (Danish Raj 65, P.S. Bharath 46) drew with Tamil Nadu 241 at ICL Guru Nanak.
At Mumbai: Maharashtra 296 and 80 for no loss (Rohit Kakade 48 not out) drew with Haryana 480 (Sant Kumar 63, Nitin Saini 48, Sandeep Singh 89, Chanderpal Saini 199).
Karnataka 270 and 243 for five decl. (P. Gargi 62, C. M. Goutham 65, G. Satish 40, B. N. Bharat 42 not out) lost to Delhi 299 and 215 for five (M. Tehlan 71, G. Chhabra 46).
At Bangalore: Jharkhand 165 and 196 (Sunny Gupta 51; G.V.S. Prasad four for 41) drew Andhra 175 and 106 for three in 46 overs.
At Visakhapatnam: Railways 291 in 123.2 overs (A. Chauhan 99 not out, J. Bhagel 54, R. Rathod four for 37) and 87 for one in 23 overs (Rahul Roy 61) drew with Saurashtra 262 in 112.2 overs (Ravinder Jadeja 78, Pujara 72).
Sikkim 107 in 47.5 overs (Harvinder Singh five for 40) and 162 in 68 overs (Arnab Chaudhuri 68, Sumit Kalia five for 60) lost to Punjab 434 for six decl. in 99 overs (Vipin Kumar 114, Uday Kaul 109, Sunny Sohal 100 not out).
