Three brothers drowned in river

KARIMNAGAR: Three brothers were drowned in the river Godavari on the outskirts of Godavarikhani town on Thursday.

According to reports, the three brothers - G. Suresh (35), Mahesh (32) and Jagadesh (30) -- went to the river shores to do the rituals of their father whose last rites were performed on Wednesday.

To take bath they entered into the water in the spot where a deep pump was dug by the Singareni to pump waters and were drowned.
