THRISSUR, DEC. 30. A meeting was held here on Thursday to felicitate 413 students who won the State Government's Promotion of Excellence Among Gift Children scholarship. Addressing the gathering, the Vice-Chancellor of the Kerala Agricultural University, K.V. Peter, said that discipline and commitment were the key to success. The secretary of Kerala Kalamandalam, Balachandran Vadakkedathu, the Corporation Standing Committee (Health) chairman, M. Usman, and A. R. Menon, scientist, Kerala Forest Research Institute, and A. Ajith Kumar, director of public instruction, also spoke.
