Guntur
By Our Staff Reporter
GUNTUR, DEC. 30. The Minister for Agriculture, N. Raghu Veeera Reddy, on Thursday instructed the District Collector, G. Jayalakshmi, to submit a comprehensive report on the nude dances held on the Andhra Pradesh Tourism boat `Bodhishri'. He took strong exception to the pesticides company for organising such a party. Penalising the women was not the answer to the menace, but stopping it from recurring was essential, he said pointing out that another such case had come to light in the district at Nagarjunasagar reservoir some time ago. Meanwhile, the Additional Junior civil judge, Manglagiri, on Thursday imposed a penalty of Rs.750 each on all the 61 persons arrested in the early hours of Wednesday. All of them were released after the penalty amount was paid.
