Temperature

MADURAI, DEC. 30. The city today registered a maximum temperature of 30.2 degree Celsius and a minimum of 21.8 degree Celsius.

Water level

The level in the Periyar dam today stood at 119.3 feet with an inflow of 285 cusecs and a discharge of 900 cusecs. The level in the Vaigai dam was 45.51 feet with an inflow of 762 cusecs and a discharge of 30 cusecs.

The combined Periyar credit was 3,560 mcft.
