Panic grips Willingdon Island

KOCHI, DEC. 30. Panic gripped business establishments, including banks, at Willingdon Island today following a warning of a possible tsunami attack by noon. Women employees of some banks and other commercial firms were sent home soon after the alert message was announced at 11.15 a.m.

Some business establishments closed for the day.
