NSS-NCC volunteers to assist in relief operations

KOCHI, DEC. 30. The NSS and NCC volunteers of schools and colleges in the city will take part in the relief and rehabilitation work in the tsunami-affected areas of the district's coastal belt. A meeting of the principals and heads of schools and colleges in the city and suburbs held at Camp Office presided over by the District Collector, A.P.M. Mohammed Hanish, on Thursday decided that the cleaning up operations will be conducted before the people return home from the relief camps.
