Realtors offer to build houses

HYDERABAD, DEC. 31. The Andhra Pradesh Real Estate Developers' Association has offered to adopt a village hit by the tsunami and construct at least 50 houses there at a cost of Rs. 20 lakhs for rehabilitating the worst affected people. The offer was made to the Chief Minister, Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy, here by the leaders of the association. They expressed concern over the tsunami devastation caused in the coastal districts and urged Dr. Rajasekhara Reddy to direct the Prakasam Collector to accept the proposal made to guide the association to take up relief work, according to P.S.Reddy, president, and P. Prem Kumar, general secretary.
