President's XI had to rest content with a 286-run first innings lead in its S.A. Srinivasan Trophy inter-zonal under-22 match against Shimoga Zone that concluded in a draw here on Friday.
Shimoga scored 173 with left-arm spinner Vinoo Prasad bagging five wickets and President's XI scored 82 for one in its second innings.
The scores: President's XI 459 in 89.2 overs and 82 for one in 22 overs (H.T. Sudhir Rao 58 n.o.) drew with Shimoga Zone 173 in 43 overs (C.R. Sachin 40, Vinoo Prasad five for 38).
