Special arrangements in temples

CHENNAI, DEC. 31. Authorities have made special arrangements at temples for New Year.

At the Vadapalani Murugan temple arrangements are made to enable devotees have darshan without difficulty. The sanctum sanctorum will be kept open from 3 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The police have made special arrangements for darshan and there are three queues at the entrance of the temple. There are special counters with tickets for Rs. 10 and Rs. 150.

Similar arrangements will be in place at Sri Parthasarathy temple, Triplicane, where `Sathumurai' begins at 5 a.m.
