HYDERABAD, DEC. 31. The obsequies of the former Prime Minister, P.V. Narasimha Rao, will be performed on January 1 and 3 at Radhika Gardens, near Devarayamjal village on the Medchal road, Hyderabad. The 12th day ceremony will be held on January 3 followed by `Ashirwad' by Vedic scholars. `Shraddanjali' will be offered to the departed soul at 5 p.m. by prominent personalities. Arrangements were made for transportation from the P.V. Ghat at the Necklace road near Sanjeevaiah Park from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the day.
