Innings victory for Karnataka

BANGALORE, JAN. 1. Karnataka defeated Kerala by an innings and 195 runs in a KSCA South Zone under-13 tournament match that concluded at the JIRS Ground here on Saturday. Trailing Karnataka's 377 and following on, Kerala was bowled out for 89 in its second innings. Earlier, Karnataka rode high on centuries by Karun Nair (124) and K.L. Rahul (108).

The scores:

Kerala 93 in 35.4 overs and 89 in 42.1 overs lost to Karnataka 377 in 98.1 overs (Karun Nair 124, K.L. Rahul 108, Muneer 59, Ashwin Sharma five for 90, Vishu Sadanathan four for 137).

Hyderabad 245 in 137 overs (Srikanth 48, Sai Sachin 41) vs Tamil Nadu 160 for seven in 71 overs (Adithya Ganesh 51, Varun Anand 43).

Andhra 136 in 53.5 overs and 168 for seven in 65 overs (T. Vamsikrishna 74 n.o., M. Rahamtulla 59) vs Goa 154 in 64.4 overs (Gaurav Desai 43, S.K. Basha four for 49).
