MADURAI, JAN. 1. T.V.S. Srichakra Cricket Club lifted the Thavamaniammal Memorial Trophy defeating host Majestic Cricket Club by 67 runs in Group I final of the district-level invitation cricket tournament here on Saturday. In Group II final, Supersonic Concord Cricket Club beat Fanatic Cricket club by six wickets.
T.V.S. Sri Chakra C.C. 235 for seven in 30 overs (Srinivasan 51, D.Jaishankar 77) bt Majestic C.C 168 in 27 overs (Ashok 63, Ajay four for 33).
Group II: Fanatic C.C 139 in 27.1 overs (Kannan 46, Subha five for 47) lost to Supersonic Concord C.C 143 for four in 19.2 overs.
