PATHANAMTHITTA, JAN 1. The Tourism Minister, K.C. Venugopal, will inaugurate the model village scheme, sponsored by the Union Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, in Koipram, near Kozhencherry, tomorrow. The scheme would be inaugurated at 10 a.m. at a function at Koipram Government Higher Secondary School. The district panchayat president, K.K. Royson, will preside over the inaugural function. A workshop on `Youth and rural employment opportunities' will be held as part of the function. The Khadi Board secretary, M. Nandakumar, will deliver the keynote address.
