BANGALORE, JAN. 1. St. Josephs Indian High School (SJIHS) and Presidency School scored facile victories in the Parle Cup Inter School under-17 tournament semifinals that concluded here on Saturday. SJIHS defeated Bangalore HSS by 231 runs while Presidency School scored a 217-run victory over FAPS.
SJIHS 296 for nine in 90 overs and 230 for two in 40 overs bt The Bangalore HSS 165 in 84.2 overs and 130 for seven in 40 overs (Darshan Ponnappa 52 n.o.).
Presidency School 340 in 86.2 overs and 199 in 40 overs (Prithvi Ramesh 62, Sampreeth 53, D.V. Anish three for 66) bt FAPS 182 in 69.4 overs (Nihal Unni 47, D.V. Anish 41, D. Anand six for 55) and 140 for eight in 40 overs.
