FIR against Mayawati for violating model code
PATNA,
JAN. 1.
An FIR was filed against the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Mayawati, for using a red beacon light atop her car and travelling with a cavalcade of more than three vehicles in violation of the model code of conduct.
The FIR alleged the BSP leader committed these violations while she was going to Gandhi Maidan to kick off her party's election campaign yesterday.
