`Triple talaq invalid among Shias'

LUCKNOW, JAN. 2. The vice-president of the All-India Muslim Personal Law Board, Maulana Kalbe Sadiq, today termed "invalid" uttering triple talaq in one go among the Shia sect saying the problem was faced by other sects. "There is not a single dispute over talaq before the board involving a Shia couple. But it has been commonly used for exploiting the women," Mr. Kalbe Sadiq told reporters. — PTI
