PONDICHERRY, JAN.2 . The Additional District Magistrate and Joint Secretary to the Revenue Department, G Ragesh Chandra, has said in a press release that there were reports that some persons and voluntary organisations were raising contributions for the tsunami victims in Pondicherry and Karaikal regions. Anyone wanting to make a contribution should remit the amount only at the office of the Secretary to the Chief Minister in the form of cheques or DDs drawn in favour of the Chief Minister's Relief Fund, Pondicherry. No payment should be made to individuals or organisations.
