KOTTAYAM, JAN. 2. The Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy, is yet to receive the resignation letter of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) representative, P.K. Kunhalikutty. This was divulged to the media by the Chief Minister on Sunday on the occasion of the Mannam Jayanthy celebrations. Asked whether the new incumbent would be given the same portfolios handled by Mr. Kunhalikutty, Mr. Chandy said he has not even received the resignation letter. ``Such issues have to be discussed among the UDF partners,'' he said and added that he alone would not be able to comment on the issue. The Chief Minister refused to comment when asked whether the new incumbent, would be the number two in the Cabinet. On the unity efforts being made between the NSS and the SNDP, Mr. Chandy said he welcomed all efforts that were well intentioned.
