The city recorded a maximum temperature of 28.8 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 17.3 degrees Celsius on Sunday. The relative humidity stood at 45 per cent.

At the airport, the maximum temperature recorded was 28.1 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was 15.8 degrees Celsius.

Relative humidity was recorded as 39 per cent. Monday will have mainly clear skies.

Fog or mist is likely early in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 15 degrees Celsius.

Music, dance

competition

Sri Jagadguru Renukacharya Pre-University College has organised an inter-collegiate Janapada festival, "Sirigandha", and a competition in music and dance, "Spurthi" on January 8 and 15.

Shyamala G. Bhave, musician, will inaugurate the competitions and the festival.
