Spiritual leader ties the knot

ANANTAPUR,
JAN. 3.
In a rather unusual event, a spiritual leader, Sai Kaleshwar, tied the nuptial knot at Siva Sai Mandiram on the ashram premises at Penukonda on Saturday night.
The marriage of Sai Kaleshwar and Shilpa was performed at 11.30 p.m. Devotees, politicians and people from different parts of the district and elsewhere attended the marriage.
Among those who attended the marriage include the Minister for Panchayat Raj, J.C. Diwakar Reddy, the Minister for Agriculture, N. Raghuveera Reddy, the Rajya Sabha member, S. Ramamuni Reddy, the Anantapur MP, A. Venkatarami Reddy, the MLAs -- S. Sailajanath, J. Ramaiah, K. Mohan Reddy and Paritala Ravindra, and the former MP, B.K. Parthasarathi.
The IGP, Lokendra Sharma, the film director, Neelakantha, were also present. Cultural programmes were also organised on the occasion.
