HYDERABAD, JAN. 3. K. K. Rukmini of NAARM bagged a `double,' winning the women's shot put and discus events in the ICAR South Zone athletic meet at the RRC Grounds here on Monday. Olympian N. Mukesh Kumar inaugurated the meet.
Men: 100m: 1. R. Sridhar (IIHR) 12.40, 2. K. Krishnan Nair (CPCRI), 3. J. Raja (CMFRI).
Long jump: 1. Ancil Pereira (CPCRI) 5.05m, 2. K. Krishnan Kunhi (CPCRI), 3. P.K. Mandal (NRCOP).
Shot put: 1. M.K. Samson (Naarm) 10.04m, 2. D. Balarama Reddy (CTRI), 3. A.K. Shaji (CMFRI).
Discus: 1. M.K. Samson (Naarm) 27.04m, 2. A.K. Shaji (CMFRI), 3. M. Bojappa Gowda (IIHR).
