National Security Adviser

NEW DELHI, JAN. 4. M.K. Narayanan, Special Advisor (Internal Security) to the Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, has been asked to perform the functions of the National Security Adviser "till further orders." The job of the National Security Adviser has fallen vacant on account of J.N. Dixit's death on Monday.
