KARAIKUDI, JAN. 4. Diana David's scintillating 91, studded with 12 fours, helped Osmania University topple the top seed and defending champion Delhi University by eight wickets and enter the semifinals of the all-India inter-university women's cricket tournament here on Tuesday.
Quarterfinals: Delhi 167 in 49.2 overs lost to Osmania University 169 for two in 43.1 overs (Diana David 91, N. Aruna 40); Madras 174 in 49 overs (Krithika 53) lost to GNDU, Amritsar 175 for three in 47 overs (Anureet Kaur 78); Nagpur 161 in 35 overs (Priyanka Acharya 60, Riya four for 58) lost to Calcutta 164 for eight in 48.2 overs (Ananya Mitra 42, Sakuntala 41); Pune 212 in 50 overs (Gauri 57) bt Devi Ahilya, Indore 169 in 47.5 overs (Revati 69, Gauri four for 31).
