CHENNAI, JAN. 4 . The Choolaimedu police are investigating a case of alleged suicide by a 14-year-old girl on Monday. Police said S. Prathyuksha, a resident of Bajanai Koil street, brought home her progress report in the evening. Her father reportedly found that the girl had doctored the card and scolded her for it. Upset by the scolding, the girl is said to have hanged herself in a room on the first floor. A case has been registered with Choolaimedu police and further investigation is on.
