Power shutdown today

PONDICHERRY, JAN. 5. There will be no power supply for five-and-half hours tomorrow in following areas from 9 a.m. tomorrow in view of the maintenance work on Marapalam sub-station HT feeder line.

The areas are Gundu Salai, parts of Natesan Nagar, Thanthai Periyar Nagar and Karamanikuppam, Mariamman Nagar, John Paul Nagar, P S B colony, parts of Jayamurthy Raja Nagar and East Coast Road and Ansari Duraisamy Nagar, Boomianpet, Boomianpet Housing Board Quarters, Jawahar Nagar, Paavanar Nagar, Victoria Nagar, Pavazhakaranchavady, Vivekananda nagar, Aziz Nagar, Pon Nagar, Cauvery Nagar, Reddiarpalayam, Kamban Nagar, Mariyal Nagar, Sellampapu nagar, Pudhu Nagar, Golden Avenue, Jaya Nagar and Mookambigai nagar.

There would be no power supply for five hours from 10 a.m. tomorrow in view of trimming of trees in certain residential colonies.

They are Government Servant Quarters (Lawspet), Santhi Nagar, Nesavalar Nagar, Anandha Nagar, Navarkulam, Kumaran Nagar, Vallalar nagar, Nehru Ville nagar, Shanmuga Nagar, Tagore Arts college campus, Kanchi Maamunivar Centre for PG Studies, PIPMATE, Mahaveer Nagar, Kurunji Nagar, Motilal Nehru Government Polytechnic, Pakkamodayanpet, Jeevanandapuram, Tagore Nagar, Lawspet, Pethuchettypet, Sellaperumalpet, Bharathi Nagar, Karuvadikuppam and Samipillaithottam.
