CHENNAI, JAN. 5. Last year's runner up Joshna Chinappa stormed into the final of the under-19 British junior open squash tournament with a 9-1, 9-1, 9-2 win over Sara Badr of Egypt in the semifinals on Wednesday, according to information received from Sheffield. The second-seeded Indian will meet unseeded Tenille Swartz of South Africa in the final. Tenille accounted for top-seeded Charlie de Rycke of Belgium.
In the quarterfinals, Joshna had accounted for Petra Hughes of Australia 9-4, 9-0, 9-5. The other Indian girl, Dipika Pallikal ,also from Chennai, reached the semifinals with a win over England's Macy Coltman (9-0, 7-0 retd) in the under-15 section.
