HYDERABAD, JAN. 5. Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) Ministers in the State Cabinet have decided to refrain from making any adverse remarks, which would cause embarrassment to the Government. The decision comes in the wake of the controversial remarks made by the Minister for Technical Education, N. Narasimha Reddy, against the Chief Minister, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, and officials from Andhra region. The Minister had reportedly threatened to confront the Chief Minister if the GO 610 was not implemented. The TRS Ministers met at the residence of Minister for Minor Irrigation, A. Chandrasekhar, last night and discussed the fallout. G. Vijayarama Rao, S. Santosh Reddy, T. Harish Rao, N. Narasimha Reddy and V. Laxmikanta Rao were present. A senior TRS Minister told The Hindu that they would not resort to any act, which caused a strain in their relation with the Congress. In a move to counter the criticism by opposition parties, the Ministers felt that they should directly launch a massive publicity campaign highlighting the developmental and welfare measures initiated by the Rajasekhara Reddy Government. The TRS chief, K. Chandrasekhara Rao, reportedly advised his party colleagues not to rush to the media and embarrass the Government.
