NALGONDA, JAN. 5. The Devarakonda police arrested an autorickshaw driver, Sammadam Sekhar, at Kondamallepally on Wednesday on the charge of lifting scooters and motorcycles. According to police sources, Sekhar was stopped by a patrol party during a routine vehicle check up. The police took him into custody when he failed to show the documents of the two-wheeler he was riding and also give convincing answers to some questions. A scooter and three motorcycles were said to have been recovered from him, sources said. The accused person hailed from Devarkonda town.
